Gates, Rockefeller and the Mysterious Chemical Elixirs

Creating a fake illness and selling a cure? Oldest game in the world. Up there with prostitution. That’s how the Rockefellers started: Snake Oil Salesmen. And they became one of the world’s richest and most powerful families.

After all the money they’ve made from oil, and that Gates has made from software, they return to the old game, because that’s where the easiest money is. Doesn’t that tell you that ‘medicine man’ and ‘fear of death’ and ‘magic elixir’ are tropes that persist because we fall for them every time?
They work on the level of mythos. That is why we cannot resist the medical patter. If only we could think… we’ve been conned before… many times. Yet point that out to people and they dismiss the shared history of humankind as a conspiracy theory. We won’t learn from our common experience because we don’t trust each other.. then we let the real con artists right in the door with their protection racket and magic charms.

Watch the first 5 minutes of James Corbett’s How Big Oil Conquered the World. All you need to know about the power families, how they made their money, the mentality of the masses…. and how the snake oil works again and again…

In the old days sales required real skills of persuasion: harness social disapproval; melodramatic appeal to emotion "you wouldn't kill grandma, would you?"; prophesies of doom; the monotone repetition of grim statistics; and incentivization, the Call to Action: don't think you'll be able to buy it when everyone start's a dyin' but you can get two for one right now.

These days Mr Snake Oil's got a Greek Chorus in the media: "Woe to the old, woe to the young, all may die for verily there is no escape". And he openly pays the chorus! https://www.mintpressnews.com/faux-generosity-how-bill-gates-bought-his-power-and-influence/263208/

Psychology is also at work on the Rockefellers and the Gates. They return to their origins. Charitable interpretation: to atone for past sins and to do it right this time. Noir interpretation: they are con men at heart. The simplest interpretation is they're looking for positive publicity but in that case they'd give their money away. Despite what they pay the media to tell you, they profit from their "philanthropy". Gates has doubled his worth, not given it away. He intends to profit from vaccines, just as Rockefeller shaped the world to suit his interests.

Both Rockefeller and Gates became rich through monopoly. Both were investigated for restricting trade and conspiring to undermine their business rivals. Both were targeted for trust busting, though Gates has gotten off more lightly.

Both had an active interest in eugenics. The parallels are striking. To return to crimes, however.

Billionaires get a free pass for cornering the market, nowadays. The actions of Bezos and Amazon, Zuckerberg and Facebook, Gates and Microsoft are monopolistic, possibly illegal, and yet they don't merit so much as an investigation these days. We no longer do class politics, only identity politics. You won't get flayed in the press or prosecuted in the courts for oppressing a country or a race but you may, for offending an individual.

It's widely said that to be white, male and a patriarch is a toxic combination. So...... how are these billionaires also getting away with that offense?

How did the patriarchy suddenly get inverted? How is the white, working class male toxically privileged, but Bill Gates is not? Who is the patriarch?

Not many results if you Google 'Bill Gates' and 'patriarchy'. Strangely you do get “Bill Gates is a huge fan of Elon Musk's artificial intelligence research.” Hey, one elite dynastic white dude is a huge fan of another elite dynastic white dude!

When it comes to Bill and Melinda Gates it is fringe-worthy to suggest that they speak for the power of white, corporate America. Meanwhile academia accepts Gates funding gender studies and women’s equality - and contraception, of course - without questioning their intentions.

“Gates Foundation seems to be largely based on the values of ‘corporate America',” writes Global Justice Now, quoted in Off Guardian. Interesting that power and privilege are core tenets of academia, that white male privilege has no right to speak for the black south, unless you are Bill Gates or another famous civil society guy out of Hungary.

Meanwhile The Guardian newspaper asks, Gates foundation annual letter: what do you think of their vision? Likewise The Guardian asks Why is the Gates foundation investing in GM giant Monsanto? but can answer only with another question: "Monsanto has been blundering around poor Asian countries for a decade giving itself and the US a lousy name for corporate bullying. Does Gates know it is in danger of being caught up in their reputations, or does the foundation actually share their corporate vision of farming and intend to work with them more in future?" Sure, just an oversight. A softball conclusion that I'm sure has nothing to do with The Guardian newspaper receiving $9 million from the Gates Foundation.

In Off Guardian, the environmentalist Dr Rosemary Mason is quoted pointing out the hypocrisy of Gates promoting chemically-dependent agriculture while professing that he’s equally concerned about health.

Leaving aside the fact that pesticides are toxins, history does not show that genetic modification leads to food security, which is what Gates claims. Farmers have long known that crop rotation is essential to soil fertility. They also know that single varieties are vulnerable to a single pest.

You don’t need scientists when you have centuries of observation. Breed humans from the same genetic stock and particular illnesses become prominent. The same applies to plants. Potato blight spread so rapidly in Ireland in the 1840s because farmers had restricted themselves only to high-yielding varieties. In the 1930s, American farmers who had planted only high-yielding varieties of corn saw massive maize failure and the resulting Mid Western dust bowl.

Journalists go out of their way to defend the billionaires, ascribing to Gates and his ilk only the best of intentions and to anyone who criticizes them, only the worst of motives. Because there are no conspiracies in business. Ever! Repeat, ever! Rich people do not get rich by combining or cornering markets or undermining rivals. They only get rich by accident and because they LOVE YOU.

With scientists, academics and journalists on the payroll of the philanthropists' foundations, you will have to discover their history for yourself.
