A power grab in the UK government is underway, driven by military technology and harnessed by global plutocracy. Its face in the UK government is Dominic Cummings. Despite or under cover of the chaos caused by the Covid crisis, with its fear and inconsistent messaging, Cummings is following a pre-declared program to reshape government and sideline parliament.
That's the conclusion of numerous reporters over the past three years. The following were assembled by UK Column. They point to software that is being introduced to manipulate voting without the people's knowledge, and the taxpayer funding of corporate technology. It is the political motivation that is most dangerous, however, including the disdain expressed by some of those involved for parliament. Is it a coincidence that since Boris Johnson came to power there have been two attempts to suspend parliament, apart from its normal recess? The first was voted down by the UK Supreme Court, the second imposed under Covid. Parliament is the only check on the surveillance state being built by corporations in league with military intelligence. If parliament is excluded from oversight, there would be only one word for the resulting political system: fascism.

Cadwalladr was, famously, included in a list of journalists by the 77th Brigade Integrity Initiative. She also exposed the activities of Cambridge Analytica during Brexit. She clearly has connections in the right place to be telling us about the attack on British democracy. Cummings himself explains how few people it required to take control and drive through Brexit - and how great the payout will be for the plutocracy.

"Parliament is the only means we have constitutionally of determining the people's will. If you have removed it from the equation as it seems Mr Cummings is keen to do, then you have obviated one of the slogans that he hates... Winston Churchill said that the benefit of democracy is that if all else fails you can kick the buggers out.
If you don't have elected members of parliament in the control and questioning arrangements... then all of this apparatus can go on from government unto government. That collection of people that I experienced when I was at GCHQ can behave as a supra-national blob, the Anglo American Five Eyes Alliance, hoovering up the data, learning to control it and socially analyze it in ever cleverer ways, as I saw between the beginning of the Millennium and when I left in 2009.
The final piece of the jigsaw is that it is corporate intelligence... The seed capital comes from muggins the taxpayer, but it is given through GCHQ and NSA to the private sector then the private sector comes up with the intellectual property and then the intelligence agencies get it back under nominal national control.
